Among the phones that have been released this year, one phone that created the biggest hype is a multimedia smartphone called I-phone. For those of you who have not heard about it yet (I’ll be shocked if you haven’t), this phone has been designed and commercialized by Apple Inc. It considered as 3 in 1 device, which can be used as a phone, ipod (multimedia player) and internet device (has Wi-Fi connectivity).

It has the usual camera features and has a multi touch screen.which requires minimum hardware input because almost all input involves the use of the touch screen (including text inputs by the use of a virtual keyboard).

The i-phone has made it also possible for you to make a call while browsing the internet. It also has a GPS technology which can help you find directions easily and an accelerometer which detects the motion of your phone (the display of your phone changes to portrait or landscape). It also has sensors which can help you save your battery power by automatically brightening or dimming your ambient light when you need it (ambient light sensor) or turning of the display on your phone whenever you are making a call (proximity sensor).

The i-phone is a great innovation by Apple. No wonder many people are going crazy over it.
